It was so nice to photograph Casey's birthday party again this year! Last year's party at The Art Farm was a lot of fun. This year, guests arrived in their favorite princess outfit, or costume. The birthday girl was dressed as Snow White. I think I even saw Wonder Woman there! The real-life Cinderella and Ariel came too, and they did face-painting followed by a little show. Paolo's 5th in Tribeca

Paolo celebrated his 5th birthday 2 weeks ago at the Downtown Community Center in Tribeca. The party kicked off with a craft, and then Katie's Puppets performed for the kids....laughter followed....followed by more laughter. If you've never seen 2 stalks of asparagus with googly eyes walk across a puppet stage, you might not realize the level of funny that I'm talking about. After the puppet show, it was time for a little magic and balloon sculpture. Before I knew it, it was time for mini-cupcakes from Tribeca Treats, and off with a party bag you go!! Happy Birthday Paolo!!!

Story Pirates Benefit with John Stewart

A few months ago I photographed a benefit auction for my friends The Story Pirates. If you don't already know them, they are an incredibly talented group of actors and musicians who take stories written by children, and then turn those stories into performances. They are AMAZING! Every Saturday at 2PM they perform at The Drama Bookshop on 40th Street. They are also a non-profit organization that conducts creative writing and drama workshops in schools here in NYC and across the country. Here are a few pics from the show!
